A recall has been initiated for a chocolate mousse product sold at Costco due to potential presence of undeclared nut ingredients. Mellow Food is conducting a voluntary recall of specific batches of Delici Dubai Style chocolate mousse, as cashew and macadamia nuts may be included without being listed on the packaging, according to a notice released by Costco on Tuesday. The impacted products were distributed between January and February.
The retailer emphasized that individuals with allergies or sensitivities to cashew nuts or macadamia nuts should refrain from consuming the product, as these allergens could lead to severe and possibly life-threatening allergic reactions.
The identified product, which serves six, carries the Universal Product Code 812190020825. Mellow Foods provided a list of affected lot codes and corresponding best before dates:

Costco has urged consumers to return the affected product to their stores for a full refund. Both companies expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the recall.
