Five suspects are being sought by police following a robbery at a jewelry store in Dufferin Mall on Saturday evening. The incident took place around 7:20 pm when five individuals wearing masks entered the store and stole merchandise. According to Toronto police, two of the suspects were armed with hammers.
The robbery occurred at the Michael Hill store, as confirmed by Dufferin Mall’s marketing manager, Darren Neely, in a statement to CBC. Although the suspects smashed the display boxes, no injuries were reported during the incident. After the robbery, the suspects fled the mall in a dark-colored vehicle. The investigation is currently ongoing, with Dufferin Mall providing assistance to the police in the case.
