Rapper and singer mgk has been confirmed as the headliner for the halftime show at the 112th Grey Cup, according to an announcement by the CFL. Formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly, the artist has released seven studio albums, including his 2020 album “Tickets to my Downfall,” which achieved double platinum status in the United States. His most recent album, “Lost Americana,” was launched in August.

Additionally, Our Lady Peace, a band that gained popularity in Canada during the 1990s with alternative rock albums like “Naveed” and “Clumsy,” will lead the kickoff show. Country singer Catie St. Germain from Niverville, Manitoba, will perform the national anthem.

The Grey Cup is scheduled to take place on November 16 in Winnipeg. Last year’s Grey Cup in Vancouver featured the Jonas Brothers as the halftime show headliners.
