The latest additions to the PWHL now have their official jerseys revealed. PWHL Vancouver and Seattle showcased their inaugural jerseys, set to debut in a matchup in Vancouver in a month. The Bauer jerseys prominently display the city names on both home and away uniforms. Team names and logos are yet to be finalized for incorporation into the 2026-27 jerseys.
Vancouver’s jersey is designed with colors inspired by the city’s natural surroundings, featuring pacific blue, cream, and earthy bronze accents. PWHL Vancouver forward Sarah Nurse expressed excitement about the jersey reveal, anticipating wearing it during the upcoming games in front of the strong fan base.
On the other hand, Seattle’s jerseys highlight deep slate green, cream, and river blue elements. The classic design of the jerseys pays homage to the PWHL’s inaugural season and the journey that brought the league to Seattle. The teams are enthusiastic about representing their cities with pride in the upcoming season opener.
Both teams were assembled through an expansion draft, causing existing teams to lose key players. Vancouver boasts a strong defense led by players from the Walter Cup-winning Minnesota Frost. Notable signings for Vancouver include Hannah Miller and Jennifer Gardiner. Former Ottawa Charge goalie Emerance Maschmeyer and Kristen Campbell from the Toronto Sceptres were also added to the team’s roster.
Seattle is expected to showcase both size and skill, potentially fielding a top line featuring Hilary Knight, Alex Carpenter, and Hannah Bilka. PWHL Vancouver will play at the Pacific Coliseum, while Seattle will compete at Climate Pledge Arena, also home to the NHL’s Seattle Kraken and WNBA’s Seattle Storm. The season opener will see Vancouver against Seattle on November 21, with Seattle hosting the Minnesota Frost for their first home game on November 28.
