A fatal motorcycle accident in downtown Summerside claimed the life of a 23-year-old man at approximately 1 a.m. on Tuesday. The incident, which was a single-vehicle crash, occurred at the junction of Water Street and Heather Moyse Drive. Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders discovered the driver along with a significantly damaged motorcycle. The injured man was swiftly transported to the hospital with critical injuries but unfortunately succumbed to them later. The Summerside police have launched an ongoing investigation into the crash and are appealing to the public for any information or potential video footage, urging witnesses to come forward or contact Crime Stoppers.
