He clarified that Spears completed her rehab program and refuted claims of an early departure. When asked about her future plans, Goldstein responded, “I don’t know; probably a lot.”
During the court proceedings, Spears was placed on summary probation, an informal arrangement not involving regular meetings with a parole officer. She temporarily waived her Fourth Amendment rights concerning searches and sobriety tests during traffic stops but excluding her residence, as ruled by the judge at Goldstein’s request.
