Three individuals lost their lives in a tragic accident near Tillsonburg, Ontario, on Friday, as confirmed by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Mall Road, situated between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line. Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders discovered a collision between an SUV and a pickup truck.
The passengers of the SUV were rushed to the hospital, where they were sadly pronounced deceased. The 75-year-old driver of the SUV was airlifted to London but succumbed to injuries later. The passengers of the SUV, aged 77 and 60, were both residents of Princeton.
The 27-year-old driver of the pickup truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries and has been discharged from the hospital. The OPP has not disclosed the hometowns of the drivers involved in the accident.
As investigations into the crash continue, the police are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in the ongoing inquiry.
