Los Angeles authorities apprehended a woman for allegedly firing gunshots near the residence of Grammy-winning singer Rihanna. No injuries were reported, and it remains uncertain whether Rihanna was present during the incident on Sunday. Law enforcement responded to reports of gunfire in the Beverly Hills neighborhood, leading to the arrest of a 35-year-old woman who was found with a weapon. The suspect faces attempted murder charges and is held on a $10 million bail. The property, believed to be Rihanna’s home, is owned by a trust associated with Evan Jehle, an advisory board member of Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation.
Security footage displayed five bullet holes on the property’s gate, with police confirming the shots were fired from a vehicle across the street. There is no known connection between the arrested woman and Rihanna. In a separate incident in 2018, a man broke into another property owned by Rihanna, resulting in a conviction for stalking and vandalism.
Rihanna, a recipient of nine Grammy Awards, boasts numerous chart-topping hits like “We Found Love” and “Umbrella,” and established the popular Fenty Beauty brand in 2017. Recently, she and A$AP Rocky welcomed their third child, a daughter named Rocki Irish Mayers.
