Soccer sensation Delaney Baie (DB) Pridham has clinched the prestigious title of Northern Super League player of the year, adding another accolade to her already impressive collection. The Ottawa Rapid star has also secured the forward of the year award, claiming the golden boot for scoring the most goals in the league with a remarkable tally of 18.

Pridham, a talented athlete with dual Canadian-American citizenship hailing from northern California, dominated the NSL statistics by leading in both total shots taken (83) and shots on target (42). She made history by achieving the league’s first hat trick in June, showcasing her exceptional skill and prowess on the field.

In a recent announcement, Jyllissa Harris from Ottawa was honored as the NSL defender of the year. Alongside her, Pridham, defender Olivia Scott, and midfielder Min A Lee were selected for the league’s prestigious “team of the year” roster.

Despite finishing as the runners-up in the competitive six-team league, the Ottawa Rapid displayed an impressive performance throughout the season, securing 11 wins, eight losses, and six ties, accumulating a total of 39 points from 25 games. The team is now gearing up to face off against the Vancouver Rise in an upcoming home-and-home semifinal series next week.
