The highly anticipated sequel to the 2006 hit movie, “The Devil Wears Prada,” saw the cast of the original film bringing back the glamour and style during its premiere events. In “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” Anne Hathaway stars once again as Andy Sachs, now a features editor at Runway magazine after her time as Miranda Priestly’s assistant. The film also features the return of Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton and Stanley Tucci as Nigel Kipling.
The premieres in New York City and London showcased some of the best fashion moments from the cast. At the London premiere, Anne Hathaway stunned in a form-fitting Versace gown, while Emily Blunt graced the red carpet in a custom Balenciaga ensemble paired with Mikimoto jewelry. Meryl Streep opted for a striking red satin car coat by Prada, accessorized with a bedazzling clutch inspired by the fictional Runway magazine in the film. Stanley Tucci looked dapper in a Paul Smith pinstripe suit as he joined the cast for a group photo.
In New York City, Hathaway wowed in a Louis Vuitton strapless gown at the world premiere, while Streep embraced the red-devil theme in a scarlet Givenchy outfit with oversized sunglasses and Stuart Weitzman boots. Blunt exuded elegance in a Schiaparelli creation at the NYC premiere event. The trio of Hathaway, Blunt, and Tucci took the stage during the film’s world premiere at Lincoln Center, adding to the excitement surrounding the sequel.
